For the third straight year the State of WI has awarded Jeff Hanssen the Safe Driver Award. To qualify for this award you have to have been an employee of the same company for 3 yrs prior to your first year as well as having no traffic accidents or violations during that same time period. The state of WI is very particular when they had out their Safe Driver Awards. Jeff has been the primary driver for HDL since the beginning back in 1989. He has not had any accidents or violations during the entire time employed with HDL.

I'm in the mists of moving, went to a local storage facility, (not HDL) but they sell nothing but space, so I went to Lowe’s bought packing tape and hit a coin op newspaper stand to wrap all my dishes and breakables. (Of course I paid for each paper at a time). Even worse I got all my Boxes from work and misc. places. The ink from the newspaper is now all over everything that I touch. I mean everything, walls, counters, light switches, my clothes, even the toilet seat has my finger prints. Ink, ink, ink I know now why people should use clean packing paper, bubble wrap or peanuts. Not to mention all my boxes are inconsistent in size so now I made it more difficult to pack the truck and transport. The good thing is I'm taking notes of my mistakes so I can give my friends a heads up. Well another day of packing, tomorrow we load truck, then we hit the road.
If I had gone to HDL in Elkhorn sooner and bought their clean packing paper, boxes & supplies I would have saved so much time not having to clean everything at the end. Some of the stuff I got later from HDL was even on SALE.

Every year HDL accepts the local bulk delivery of Girlscout cookies for the Elkhorn area Troops. Pallets upon pallets of cases of cookies are dropped off, divided and sorted into lots for the scouts to pick up. By the end of the day the cookies are gone like it never happened. What an organized group!
